The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) promise to be a spectacular celebration of musical excellence across diverse genres. With Jennifer Lopez as the host, the ceremony is scheduled to occur on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT. The event will be broadcast live on CBS and available for streaming on Paramount+.
This year’s AMAs are set to deliver remarkable performances, featuring one by Lopez herself. Fan voting is currently underway, enabling music enthusiasts to cast their votes through VoteAMAs.com or the @AMAs Instagram profile. Voting concludes on May 15, with the exception of categories such as Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year, which will remain open during the initial 30 minutes of the broadcast.
Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with ten accolades, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for “GNX,” and Song of the Year for “Not Like Us.” Post Malone follows closely with eight nominations, while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey each receive seven. The nominees are based on fan interactions tracked by Billboard and Luminate, encompassing streaming, sales, airplay, and tour grosses from March 22, 2024, to March 20, 2025.
