The Aotearoa Music Awards are back, and music enthusiasts across New Zealand are eagerly awaiting the grand event. Scheduled for Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Viaduct Events Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau, these awards will close out Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa | New Zealand Music Month in style.
The Aotearoa Music Awards will feature live performances from some of the biggest acts in Aotearoa.
Some of the finalists for the Aotearoa Music Awards include Dead Favours (Best Rock Artist), Mermaidens – I Like To Be Alone (Single of The Year), Princess Chelsea (Best Alternative Artist), Stan Walker (Best Solo Artist), and Avantdale Bowling Club – TREES (Album of the year). The Aotearoa Music Awards will be hosted by co-hosted by well-known broadcasters, Jesse Mulligan and Kara Rickard, making it an unforgettable night for music lovers across the country.
The public media organization will livestream the event via rnz.co.nz and across its social media channels on Thursday, May 30th, 2024.
