CMT Awards

CMT Awards debuted on CBS(04/11), and it was an amazing night of performances from Country’s biggest stars.

CMT Awards this year were hosted by Kane Brown, and Anthony Mackie. It was LIVE from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, and downtown Nashville.

Country singers, Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood won “Video of The Year”, and “Collaborative Video of the Year” for their hit song, “If I Didn’t Love You”. This makes 23 awards in total for Carrie; making her the most honored artist in CMT Music Awards history.

The night started with five time CMT Award winner, Keith Urban. He put on a great performance for all the dreamers, and drifters with his song, “Wild Hearts”.

After, Jordan Davis performed “Buy Dirt”, and it was absolutely amazing. He performed LIVE from downtown, Nashville, TN.

Following Jordon, was a rockin’ performance from Cole Swindell & Lainey Wilson. They performed “Never Say Never” LIVE On Broadway in downtown Nashville in the pouring rain!

Carly Pearce Performed “Diamondback” from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. It was amazing, and she definitely ain’t giving the diamond back.

Following Carly, country band, Little Big Town Performs “Hell Yeah”.

Thomas Rhett & Riley Green performed “Half of Me”. What a GREAT performance it was.

Old Dominion took the stage with “No Hard Feelings”, and they rocked their performance.(Below)…

Country singer, Kelsea Ballerini performed “HEARTFIRST” from home. Kelsea was supposed to host the CMT Awards, but tested Positive for Covid-19.

Kelsea then introduced, Carrie Underwood who put on a phenomenal performance of “Ghost Story”.

Jason Aldean and Bryan Adams performed “Heaven” at The Stage On Broadway in Nashville.

The night went on with AMAZING performances by Country’s biggest stars. Mickey Guyton & Black Pumas performed “Colors”, Gabby Barrett performed “Pick Me Up”, Walker Hayes performed “AA”, Cody Johnson performed ‘Til You Can’t”, Maren Morris & Ryan Hurd performed “I Can’t Love You Anymore”, Kane Brown performed “One Mississippi”, Jimmie Allen, Monica & Little Big Town performed “Pray”, Miranda Lambert performed “If I Was a Cowboy”, and Kenny Chesney performed “Beer In Mexico”.

The Biggest performance of the night was by the JUDDS. They brought Nashville to Church, Oh Yes They Did. They reunited after 20 years to perform their 1990 hit song, “Love Can Build a Bridge”. Just amazing!
