Taylor Swift On Top; Leading Nominations At The 2023 VMA's

Taylor Swift leads the nominations for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) with 8 nods.

Taylor Swift hit song, “Anti Hero” is up for seven nominations including:  Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Best Editing, and Best Direction.

Taylor Swift currently holds 14 VMA’s, and has the chance to become the most awarded artist in VMA History this year.

She is only 6 awards away from making that happen! Madonna currently holds the record with 20 awards.

Fans can vote now for their favorite artist by visiting MTV & choose out of 15 of the gender-neutral categories available.

SZA in the running for six awards, and Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith, Kim Petras, Olivia Rodrigo, and Nicki Minaj trail with five nominations each.

Also, Shakira, BLACKPINK and Diddy are recognized in four VMA categories.

Shakira will receive the Video Vanguard Award at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, AND set to perform for the first time on the VMA stage in 17 years.
